SonaKeep is a local-first gold inventory and portfolio tracker. This policy explains what data the app stores, what data may leave your device, and what is not collected in the current version.

What SonaKeep stores on your device

• Gold item records that you enter manually
• App settings such as currency, weight unit, privacy mode, and biometric-lock preference
• Cached gold price responses and timestamps used for valuation display and fallback behavior

What data may leave your device

SonaKeep may request public gold pricing data from a configured third-party pricing provider so that it can display current valuation estimates. These requests are used for market pricing only.

What SonaKeep does not collect in the current version

• No account registration data
• No email address or phone number collection inside the app
• No contacts, location, photo library, or camera access
• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics or ad-tracking SDKs in the current version

Device security features

On supported devices, SonaKeep can use biometric or device authentication to protect app access. This is a device-level security convenience feature and not a substitute for securing your phone and backups properly.

Retention and control

Because SonaKeep currently stores its core data locally on your device, deleting the app or clearing local data may remove your stored records unless you have backed up your device through your own device backup tooling.
